Job Summary
We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer with strong hands-on development experience in designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale marketing automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience developing custom SFMC solutions using AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, APIs, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio, along with a proven track record of delivering personalized, data-driven customer engagement campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Develop and maintain complex customer journeys using Journey Builder.
Build and optimize email campaigns, dynamic content, and personalized communications.
Develop custom solutions using AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), SQL, and HTML/CSS.
Create and manage Data Extensions, Contact Builder configurations, and audience segmentation.
Develop automations using Automation Studio, including data imports, exports, and scheduled activities.
Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve campaign, integration, and data-related issues.
Collaborate with business and marketing stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Follow development best practices, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Mandatory Skills
6+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience.
Strong expertise in: AMPscript SQL Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) HTML/CSS for email development Journey Builder Automation Studio Email Studio Contact Builder Data Extensions Experience developing dynamic and personalized email communications.
Hands-on experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and third-party applications.
Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs. Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SFMC performance and automations.
Preferred Skills
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Customer 360.
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices for Salesforce platforms.
