Job Description
This position performs Salesforce applications programming work of average to considerable difficulty involving complex scientific, engineering and/or mathematical problems using Salesforce programming languages; and performs related work as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Codes new programs in Salesforce using Salesforce programming languages to meet client specified requirements.
- Modifies computer programs in Salesforce to correct errors and to meet update requirements. Receives direction/requests generally from Sales and Marketing departments regarding the type of modifications/changes to be made to either existing programs or newly creates ones.
- Tests programs to determine if logic and control flow creates the desired output. Determines whether the data is being processed correctly. May require additional modifications/coding to ensure that correct information is being processed.
- Assists clients in understanding how to use application systems.
- Develops and modifies technical program and system documentation.
Requirements
- Experienced in Salesforce programming languages, JD Edwards Accounting and Payroll modules.
- Requires five (5) years as a Programmer/Analyst with programming in a language used by Robson Communities and course work in computer science, management information systems or a related field
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce customer and standard objects. Reason and develop logical conclusions for programming problems
- Work within a team concept in application planning, development, and problem solving
- Learn and apply new knowledge and technology to assignments
- Read, comprehend, and interpret technical and user manuals and reports
- Independently research available information to develop new applications and modify or correct existing applications.
- Test and modify existing programs accordingly after upgrades of databases, programming languages and other system software.
