Job Title: Salesforce SME
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $43 - $48/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
We are seeking a Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep Salesforce platform expertise and experience working with Generative AI / LLM-based products. The ideal candidate will bridge Salesforce technical implementation knowledge with emerging AI/GenAI workflows, enabling migration, automation, and agentic AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand dependency graph schema to capture Salesforce constructs the agent does not yet model (sharing model, record types, page layouts, CPQ, Experience Cloud, custom metadata, named credentials, platform events, change data capture, etc.).
- Define migration-relevance scoring: identify high-risk, low-risk, manual-intervention, and auto-mappable components.
- Build Salesforce-to-target-platform mapping rulebook (e.g., Salesforce Flow Power Automate, Apex trigger Dataverse plugin/Power Fx, Approval Processes Dynamics 365 workflows).
- Hands-on work with real Salesforce implementations (beyond admin/configuration).
- Deep expertise across the Salesforce platform:
- Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable, schedulable, governor limits, test patterns)
- Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Approval Processes
- SOQL/SOSL, custom objects, relationships, formula fields, validation rules
- Sharing & visibility model: OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules, manual shares, Apex sharing, territory management
- Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, named credentials, external services, platform events, change data capture, Salesforce Connect
- Experience with GenAI / LLM-based products as a user, evaluator, or builder; understanding prompts, RAG, evaluations, and agentic workflows
- Experience with CPQ, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Industries Clouds (FSC, Health Cloud, etc.)
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Metadata API, SFDX CLI, Tooling API
- Comfortable reviewing Python (FastAPI, LangChain) code, proposing changes, and collaborating with ML engineers
Required Skills
- Strong Salesforce hands-on implementation experience
- Deep knowledge of Apex, Flows, Approval Processes, SOQL/SOSL
- Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs, named credentials, external services
- Experience with GenAI / LLM workflows and AI-enabled automation
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX and metadata tooling
- Ability to bridge Salesforce technical expertise with AI/ML workflows
Preferred Skills
