About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Salesforce Solution Architect to lead technical direction for our Salesforce ecosystem, which spans Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud. This role sits within our engineering organization supporting a large health plan, and will report to our Salesforce Development Manager while partnering closely with enterprise architecture and delivery leadership.

This is not a career architect looking to stay above the code. We need someone who can roll up their sleeves, guide a team of three senior developers through complex solutioning, and still get into the weeds on Lightning Web Components and integration work when needed. You'll be the person who takes a business problem, breaks it into a real technical solution, and can defend that solution in a room with senior technology leadership.

What You'll Work On

• Call Center CRM (Health Cloud): Help evolve our contact center application, which aggregates member and provider data from multiple source systems to give call center staff a unified view.
• Salesforce Org Consolidation: Lead the technical strategy to retire legacy Salesforce orgs and migrate active applications into a single, modern instance.
• Member & Provider Portal (Experience Cloud): Partner with new provider network leadership on the ongoing build-out of our community/experience cloud portal.
• Integration Strategy: Weigh in on our MuleSoft vs. AWS API Gateway direction as we scale past 34+ integrations, partnering with our existing MuleSoft and data architecture teams.
• Team Leadership: Guide three senior developers on solutioning and architecture, then parcel out and help execute the resulting work.
• AI Enablement: Explore and recommend practical applications of Salesforce AI capabilities across our Salesforce footprint.

What We're Looking For

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in Salesforce development, with demonstrated growth into a solution architect or lead developer/architect hybrid role
• Deep, hands-on proficiency across core Salesforce technologies; ability to both design solutions and contribute code
• Experience with Health Cloud and contact center/CRM implementations strongly preferred
• Experience with Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud/Community Cloud a plus
• Exposure to MuleSoft or AWS integration patterns preferred, not required
• Track record of translating business problems into technical solutions, including creating architectural diagrams and presenting to senior stakeholders (up to C-suite/CIO level)
• Experience leading or mentoring developers
• Strong documentation habits; comfortable working within structured templates
• Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required for candidates with strong, transferable experience from other regulated or complex-systems verticals
