In this role, you will provide elite-level architectural oversight for a multi-org environment consisting of over 50 applications, including the mission-critical, high-traffic Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Portal. This is a high-visibility, Key Personnel position requiring deep technical acumen and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage expert proficiency in integration patterns and middleware to seamlessly connect Salesforce with disparate internal and external systems across the CBP ecosystem.
  • Apply a deep understanding of the Salesforce security model (including permissions, data access controls, and Salesforce Shield encryption technology) to protect sensitive data at rest and in transit.
  • Lead complex TDD reviews for application teams to verify technical soundness, security compliance, and architectural alignment prior to deployment.
  • Oversee configuration management and coordinate with teams using toolsets like Salesforce CLI, Microsoft VS Code, GitLab, Scratch Orgs, and SecDevOps pipelines.
  • Partner with Salesforce vendor support and internal O&M teams to isolate, diagnose, and resolve global platform issues or bugs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) designation from a recognized credentialing agency is preferred.
  • Advanced, practical understanding of data access controls, permissions, and cloud encryption frameworks.
  • Experience navigating full lifecycle Agile program management specifically tailored to Salesforce environments.
  • Proven success implementing enterprise integration patterns to connect Salesforce with modern and legacy external systems.
  • Superior analytical skills to tackle platform-wide technical roadblocks and provide scalable alternatives to technical leadership.
  • Ability to communicate complex architectural strategies clearly to senior customer leadership and application engineering teams.
