Job Description:

Salesforce Technical Business Analyst

Location: Hartford, Connecticut (Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst for a fast-paced project involving a recently launched claims inventory management application. This role requires a technically proficient analyst who can translate complex healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator capable of working effectively across business, product, architecture, and engineering teams with minimal on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and integration requirements.
  • Translate business needs into Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, process flows, and data mapping specifications.
  • Write user stories, gather requirements, and handle daily change requests from the business.
  • Define integration requirements between source systems, microservices, APIs, and Salesforce.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and QA teams to validate solution designs and ensure delivery alignment.
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, requirements traceability, and release readiness activities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and drive consensus across business and technology teams.
  • Support the Product Owner and potentially conduct product demonstrations.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
  • Technical business analyst experience, including understanding data mapping and querying databases for microservices.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for Salesforce Health Cloud, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation rules, business rules, and end-to-end process design.
  • Healthcare payer experience supporting Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid business processes, including claims or case management.

Technical Skills:

  • Salesforce Health Cloud experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and modern cloud architectures.
  • Understanding of Salesforce data models, workflow automation, and case management.
  • Ability to create process flows, user stories, and integration requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, or Health Cloud certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Experience supporting healthcare claims workflows, workflow orchestration, or inventory management.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
  • Aspiration to grow into a Product Owner role.
