Job Title: Salesforce Technical Lead

Location: Plano, Texas (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.

This role will lead the technical strategy, architecture, integrations, and governance across Salesforce platforms while mentoring development teams and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Architecture & Development

Design and develop solutions across:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Marketing Cloud
- Experience Cloud
Lead end-to-end technical design and implementation aligned with enterprise standards.
Ensure scalability, security, and performance optimization of Salesforce solutions.

Technical Leadership

Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators.
Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and performance tuning.
Manage technical risks and resolve complex system issues.

Integration & Governance

Design and oversee integrations with enterprise systems using:
- APIs
- Middleware
- Custom development
Define and enforce Salesforce governance, data management, and security policies.
Implement identity management and role-based access controls.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Document technical designs, architecture diagrams, and system configurations.
Stay current with Salesforce platform enhancements and recommend improvements.

Top 3 Required Skills

Strong experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds.
Proven experience leading Salesforce technical architecture and development initiatives.
Deep expertise in Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, governance, and security.

Required Qualifications

9-12+ years of overall IT experience.
Proven experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer with Technical Lead responsibilities.
Strong expertise in:
- Salesforce Lightning
- Apex
- Visualforce
- SOQL
- Salesforce DX
Deep understanding of declarative and programmatic development.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security, and identity management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Salesforce Certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer).
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience with Copado or similar CI/CD release management tools.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks.
