Temporary Sales Representative - High Point Market Fall 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, and sales-driven professional to represent our company during
High Point Market Fall 2026. This role is focused on generating sales, building relationships with buyers, capturing qualified leads, and identifying new business opportunities, including potential licensing partnerships for our designs.
The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations, and creating sales opportunities. A strong sales personality is more important than previous trade show experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate Sales and Orders
The primary responsibility of this role is to actively sell and generate business opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging buyers and visitors at the booth.
- Presenting products and explaining company offerings.
- Identifying potential customers interested in wholesale purchases.
- Selling products in bulk at wholesale pricing.
- Completing wholesale order forms and gathering customer information.
- Recording lead information accurately.
- Identifying qualified prospects for post-show follow-up.
- Recognizing new business and licensing opportunities.
Booth Coverage
- Work independently at the booth when the owner is unavailable.
- Represent the company professionally and confidently.
- Maintain an organized booth and keep accurate records of leads and paperwork.
- Utilize an iPad and digital forms to collect customer and order information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales, retail, business development, customer service, or trade show experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to quickly engage prospects and assess their business needs.
