Description: Our client is currently seeking a Salesperson/New Business Development for cosmetic /beauty packaging client in Newark, NJ (onsite)

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Hunt for new customers and develop account leads as new business development lead.
  • Manage, service, and grow business with existing customers.
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to recruit new clients.
  • Research the cosmetic market and identify new sectors for glass decoration.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, including pricing preparation and submission.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Improve customer experience and strengthen loyalty.
  • Analyze market trends and KPIs to maintain competitive positioning.
  • Handle customer claims and coordinate with internal departments for issue resolution.
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts and periodic reports for management.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly internal meetings to track project progress and success rates.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of field sales experience in a manufacturing or production environment; glass bottle decoration experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with packaging decoration/printing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to identify prospects and close deals.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends.
