About the Role:
New Leaf Salon and Spa in Northborough, MA is looking for an enthusiastic and polished Salon Assistant and Front Desk team member to be the welcoming face of our salon experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the beauty industry while working alongside talented professionals in a vibrant, client-focused environment.



Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in clients, creating a warm and welcoming first impression
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations via phone and booking software
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, including retail product sales and service payments
• Assist stylists with salon floor support, including shampooing, color prep, laundry, and sanitation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, waiting area, and salon floor
• Answer client inquiries about services, pricing, and products in a knowledgeable and professional manner
• Restock retail shelves and assist with inventory management

Requirements:

• Prior customer service, receptionist, or salon experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment
• Comfortable with scheduling software and basic point-of-sale systems
• Professional appearance and a passion for the beauty and wellness industry
• Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
