Salon Receptionist

The Salon Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for clients and supporting salon operations through effective appointment scheduling and customer interaction. They are the first point of contact, managing phone inquiries, greeting visitors, and handling transactions with professionalism and accuracy. This position reports directly to the Salon Manager and operates within a manual scheduling system via phone and email, ensuring smooth daily workflows without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments using phone and email communication
• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival
• Manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Promote and sell salon products to clients

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in customer service roles
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with customer service best practices
• Experience with appointment scheduling software
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong cash handling skills
