    Position – Salon Stylist - Assisted Living 
    Location: Bell Tower Residence – Merrill, WI (On-site) 
    Status: Full-time | Part-Time 
    Schedule: Flexible scheduling

    Job Summary: 
    A Salon Stylist at Bell Tower Residence is compassionate and dependable. In this role, you will provide hands-on barber / beauty services according to the resident's wants and needs while maintaining a pleasant environment in which to receive those services.  The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals in a residential setting.

    • Starting at $20 per hour dependent on experience

    Key Responsibilities: 
    • Performs all services required of a Salon Stylist including, but not limited to cutting, coloring, perming and styling resident's hair.
    • Communicate any hair, skin or nail concerns to the nurse.
    • Sets appointments with residents and/or families.
    • Keep work areas clean and sanitized.
    • Maintain necessary inventory of needed supplies.
    • Maintain accurate records of services provided.
    • Familiarize new residents with services available to them.
    • Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
    • Assist residents to and from salon as needed.
    • Assist in maintaining environment that is in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory agencies.

    Qualifications: 
    Required: 
    • Must be licensed as a Barber and/or Cosmetologist in order to practice.
    • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
    • Must have good communication skills
    • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
    Preferred: 
    • Prior experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a long-term care setting
