Job Title: Salvagnini Programmer

Job Description

The Salvagnini Programmer programs Salvagnini P2 panel bending systems from scratch, operates the equipment, and ensures reliable performance through troubleshooting and routine maintenance. This role requires interpreting engineering drawings to define tooling sequences and using Salvagnini machine software to create efficient, accurate production programs.


Responsibilities


+ Program Salvagnini P2 panel bending systems from scratch to meet production and quality requirements.

+ Operate Salvagnini machinery safely and efficiently throughout the production process.

+ Use Salvagnini machine software (FACE, STREAM) to create, modify, and optimize machine programs.

+ Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine tooling sequences and bending operations.

+ Diagnose machine issues and perform troubleshooting to resolve mechanical or software-related problems.

+ Carry out routine machine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.

+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure programs meet specifications and deadlines.

+ Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to improve accuracy, cycle times, and throughput.

+ Follow established safety procedures and quality standards during programming, setup, and operation.


Essential Skills


+ At least 2 years of experience programming Salvagnini P2 panel bending systems from scratch.

+ Hands-on experience using Salvagnini machine software, specifically FACE and STREAM, for programming.

+ Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Salvagnini machinery and related equipment.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.

+ Solid understanding of tooling sequences and bending processes for sheet metal fabrication.

+ Ability to operate Salvagnini machines and adjust settings based on program and production needs.

+ Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial machinery maintenance.

Work Environment


This role is based in a production environment working with Salvagnini P2 panel bending systems and related machine software such as FACE and STREAM. The position follows a first-shift schedule, typically 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You work on the shop floor around industrial equipment, following safety procedures and standard manufacturing practices throughout the day.
