    Description

    Our client, is a Food Product Manufacturer company, is looking for a Sample Analyst for their Hackettstown, NJ location.

    Responsibilities:

    • The Sample Analyst is responsible for retrieving product samples, documenting and tracking them in internal systems, and supporting consumer product quality processes.
    • This role also includes direct consumer interaction related to product complaints and requires strong attention to detail and basic system proficiency.
    • Retrieve product samples for testing.
    • Identify, log, and accurately capture sample information into the database
    • Store and manage physical samples according to internal procedures
    • Conduct basic sample dissection/inspection as required
    • Support consumer care by following up directly with customers regarding product complaints
    • Document all findings and interactions in the appropriate systems
    • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal tracking standards
    • Work with consumer products (Client/M&M's portfolio)

    • Quality Assurance
    • Responsible for ensuring compliance with the organization's Quality Assurance (QA) standards, international standards, and government regulations. Establishes quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring quality and drives improvements.
    • Conducts process quality audit and documents inspection records.

    Manufacturing Quality Assurance

    • Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes:
    • Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product
    • Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products
    • Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods

    Requirements:

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to follow structured processes and documentation requirements
    • Basic experience using Microsoft systems (Excel, Outlook, databases)
    • Strong communication skills for consumer follow-up interactions
    • Ability to handle physical samples and perform basic inspection/dissection tasks
    • Prior experience in customer service or quality/sample handling
    • Office/operations-based role with hands-on sample handling
    • Interaction with internal systems and consumer communication tools

    • 3+ years professional experience working in business operations.

    • Must be proactive, high energy, detailed-oriented when appropriate, results-oriented, and willing to initiate and nurture change.
