Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:30 - 5 PM

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Sample Maker experience in the apparel industry
• Experience creating garment samples, prototypes, and fit samples
• Background in loungewear, sleepwear, or similar apparel preferred
• Production sewing experience alone is not sufficient

Job Duties

• Create first samples, prototypes, and fit samples from patterns and technical specifications
• Sew and assemble garments with exceptional attention to quality and detail
• Interpret patterns, tech packs, and garment construction instructions
• Partner with designers and product development teams to improve fit and construction
• Identify construction challenges and recommend solutions
• Ensure all samples meet quality, fit, and appearance standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operate industrial sewing equipment including Single Needle, Overlock (Serger), Cover Stitch, and Zig-Zag machines

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and use hands for detailed sewing tasks throughout the workday
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
