Job Description:
Title: Sample Prep & Logistics Assistant
Location: Research Triangle Park, NC
Duration: 0-3 Months
Shift: M-F 6: 00 AM to 3: 30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour

Work schedule is Monday thru Thursday working 9 hours per day and a half day on Friday (4 hours)
Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation of agriculture research samples
  2. Inventory and order management support
  3. Picking, packing, and shipping of agriculture samples
  4. Record keeping and documentation per department guidelines
  5. Support activities related to sample logistics
  6. Requirements Proven record of reliability as a dependable team player that shows up to work each day
  7. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  8. Ability to document activities accurately and responsibly
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  10. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and good lab practices
  11. Ability to adhere to all safe work practices and wear appropriate PPE

Experience:
  1. 1-2 years'experience in a production type environment is required.
  2. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  3. Attention to detail
  4. Ability to work independently and maintain production quality and quantity.

Education:
  1. Minimum HS Diploma or GED but a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is preferred
