Job Title: Sample Preparatory Technician
Location: Arvada, CO (Onsite)
Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20–$21/hour
Type: Contract to Hire

Overview
A leading environmental testing laboratory is seeking a Sample Preparatory Technician to support high-volume operations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for individuals who thrive in detail-oriented environments and enjoy staying active throughout the day. With significant growth and increased sample volume, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and gain valuable lab operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and fulfill client orders by assembling bottles with specified solutions/media
• Label bottles, kits, and packages accurately for shipment
• Package and stage materials for delivery to clients
• Store prepared samples and materials under appropriate temperature-controlled conditions
• Log and track incoming and outgoing materials within internal systems
• Support sample handling, organization, and workflow within the lab
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces to ensure efficient operations
• Assist with inventory, stocking supplies, and general lab support tasks

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to double-check work for accuracy
• Basic computer skills (data entry, tracking systems, order entry)
• Ability to multitask and stay organized throughout the day
• Background in food service, retail, or other fast-paced environments is highly transferable
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
