Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare bakery product samples for customer presentations, sales teams, and product testing
  • Work closely with Production, sales, R&D, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure samples reflect current formulations and quality standards
  • Package, label, and document samples accurately, including ingredient lists and allergen information
  • Maintain an organized inventory of sample materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods
  • Manage trade show sample materials, including inventory, packing, shipping, and post-event returns
  • Coordinate, Schedule and track sample shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain records of sample requests, shipments, and feedback
  • Monitor sample shelf life and storage conditions
  • Support continuous improvement of sample handling and logistics processes

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in food manufacturing, bakery operations, or a coordination/logistics role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, especially in labeling and documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems, email communication)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a bakery/production environment (temperature variations, flour exposure, etc.)

 

Work Environment

  • Combination of office, kitchen, and production floor settings
  • May require early mornings, weekends, or overtime during peak production or product launches
