Samples Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee material handling, inventory control, staging, and fulfillment activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and process improvements.
• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to support production and customer demand.
• Coordinate product staging and shipping for retail stores and direct-to-consumer orders.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and partner with Finance and Operations to resolve issues

Production & Fulfillment Support

• Optimize workflows, warehouse layouts, and material movement to improve efficiency.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines and outbound shipments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 5S practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Retail, and Engineering teams to meet business objectives.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse, material handling, and fulfillment team members.
• Establish performance expectations and monitor productivity and quality metrics.
• Conduct team meetings and communicate operational goals, priorities, and safety expectations.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Maintain quality control processes and ensure proper handling of damaged or non-conforming materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Experience managing inventory, material handling, and fulfillment processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP, MRP, WMS, or similar inventory management systems.
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively across multiple departments.
