Pay Rate: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:30 am - 5 pm

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or sandblasting experience preferred
• Experience in metal fabrication or industrial finishing is a plus
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is beneficial

Job Duties

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and finish metal parts
• Inspect components before and after blasting to verify quality standards
• Load and unload parts into blasting cabinets or work areas
• Mask or protect designated areas prior to blasting
• Monitor blast media and equipment performance
• Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance
• Use measuring tools and visual inspections to ensure quality
• Package and stage completed parts for production or shipment
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as needed

Physical Capabilities

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Stand and move throughout the workday
• Perform repetitive motions with hands and arms
• Bend, stoop, reach, and work in a manufacturing environment
• Wear required PPE while operating equipment
• Steel-toed boots required

What You Will Do

As a Sand Blast Operator you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

A Sand Blast Operator contributes to manufacturing by performing a variety of production responsibilities that support efficient operations and quality products. This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely throughout every shift.

The Sand Blast Operator supports manufacturing through product assembly, inspection, packaging, material handling, and adherence to production procedures while maintaining quality and workplace safety.
