Sandblaster/Blast Operator

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sandblaster / Blast Operator to join a growing team in Ogden, UT. This role is responsible for preparing metal surfaces and operating blasting equipment to clean, finish, and prepare industrial components for painting and production processes. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting and blast equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces
• Remove rust, scale, paint, debris, and contaminants from materials and components
• Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, and finishing processes
• Load, unload, and safely move materials throughout the work area
• Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality requirements
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous sandblasting, blast operator, or industrial manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate blasting equipment and tools
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
