Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Sandblaster for our client in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will bring hands-on blasting experience and strong safety habits to a fast-paced steel coating operation.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $25–$30/hr, DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday. Day and swing shift schedules available.

Responsibilities

• Sandblast steel to SSPC standards.

• Operate forklift and blast recovery equipment.

• Assist with coating operations.

• Maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of sandblasting experience.

• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Strong safe work habits and safety awareness.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial blasting and coating facility where employees sandblast steel to SSPC standards and operate forklifts and blast recovery equipment. The work is physically demanding, involving prolonged standing, lifting, and exposure to dust, noise, and abrasive materials, requiring consistent use of proper PPE and safe work practices.
