Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Sandblaster for a short-term industrial manufacturing opportunity in the Tulsa area. This temporary assignment runs from Tuesday, October 13, through Saturday, October 17, 2026, and pays $20.00 per hour.

This position is responsible for operating sandblasting equipment, preparing metal surfaces for painting, coating, or fabrication, and supporting daily production operations.

Previous sandblasting experience is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work, wearing required personal protective equipment, and working in an industrial environment.

Candidates must be available for the entire five-day assignment.

Required Experience & Skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• 
  Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently
  
• 
  Prepare metal surfaces for coating, painting, or fabrication
  
• 
  Remove applicable surface contaminants through abrasive blasting
  
• 
  Follow established surface-preparation procedures
  
• 
  Inspect prepared surfaces for visible quality concerns
  
• 
  Maintain consistent surface preparation throughout production
  
• 
  Handle materials and equipment safely
  
• 
  Follow supervisor instructions and production requirements
  
• 
  Maintain clean and organized work areas
  
• 
  Follow all company safety procedures
  
• 
  Wear required PPE throughout blasting operations
  
• 
  Communicate equipment or safety concerns promptly
  
• 
  Assist production personnel with additional duties as needed
  
• 
  Perform other assigned industrial production responsibilities
