Description:
The Sandblasting Operator is responsible for the surface preparation of metal parts by removing burrs, polishing surfaces, and ensuring a smooth finish prior to plating or final assembly.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment to clean, smooth, or prepare surfaces for coating or finishing
• Prepare parts and materials prior to blasting
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Load and unload materials and components safely
• Maintain blasting equipment and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and ventilation systems

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating sandblasting or industrial blasting equipment preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial production environments
• Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to read & understand work instructions
• Reliable & punctual attendance
