The Sanding and Robot Operator - 3rd Shift sets up, operates, and maintains multiple robotic sanding cells to meet production targets.
- Operates robotic sanding cells for helmet sanding, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Identifies helmet models, sets up fixturing, and loads/unloads helmets properly.
- Uses computer controls to select programs and maintains sanding tools and pads.
- Communicates issues promptly via designated tools and reports to supervisors.
- Follows safety rules, maintains a clean work environment, and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include basic math skills, teamwork, attention to detail, effective communication, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
