Abby's Bagels & Coffee Lower Greenville, Dallas is opening a new store and looking for people who love great food, fast-paced work, and taking care of others. We make bagels from scratch, serve coffee all day. We are a neighborhood spot that always feels welcoming.

Prepare made-to-order bagel sandwiches, breakfast items, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Abby’s Bagels recipes, build guides, and presentation standards
Slice, toast, assemble, wrap, label, and stage orders accurately for dine-in, takeout, online, catering, and delivery customers
Read tickets carefully and communicate clearly about modifications, special requests, allergens, and out-of-stock items
Maintain appropriate portion sizes to support food quality, speed, and cost control
Set up, stock, and replenish the sandwich line with fresh ingredients, proteins, cheeses, vegetables, spreads, sauces, packaging, and utensils
Follow food-safety requirements for proper holding temperatures, labeling, date rotation, cross-contamination prevention, and sanitation
Keep the sandwich station, prep surfaces, equipment, coolers, and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and service-ready
Monitor product quality and notify a manager of low inventory, waste, expired items, or equipment concerns
Work efficiently during breakfast and lunch rushes while maintaining order accuracy and presentation
Assist with prep work, dishwashing, cleaning, opening, closing, and other kitchen duties as assigned
Support cashier, bakery, and kitchen teammates to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience
Previous sandwich maker, line cook, prep cook, deli, café, restaurant, or food-service experience is preferred, but not required
Ability to follow recipes, build charts, portion standards, and food-safety procedures consistently
Comfortable working with knives, toasters, grills, refrigeration equipment, and other kitchen tools safely
Strong attention to detail, speed, cleanliness, and order accuracy
Ability to stay calm, organized, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 40 pounds
Availability for early mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
Food Handler certification, or willingness to obtain one, preferred
This position may be full-time or part-time. Shifts may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Pay is competitive and based on experience.
