Bimbo Bakeries is seeking a dependable Sanitation Associate to support its food production facility in London, KY. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary bakery production environment while following strict food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
This is a hands-on position involving cleaning throughout the production facility, warehouse, shipping and receiving areas, and other areas of the property.

Job Description
- Clean and sanitize bakery production equipment and work areas.
- Clean floors, walls, ceilings, fans, and other areas throughout the facility.
- Perform specialized cleaning of flour-handling and bakery equipment according to established procedures.
- Complete assigned tasks outlined in the Master Sanitation Program.
- Maintain accurate records of completed cleaning and sanitation activities.
- Inspect assigned areas and identify conditions requiring additional cleaning or attention.
- Report equipment issues or unsanitary conditions to supervision.
- Assist with sanitation activities throughout the plant, warehouse, shipping, receiving, exterior areas, and grounds.
- Follow established pest-control procedures as assigned.
- Complete daily sanitation assignments and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.
- Assist and train other team members when requested.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, personal safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to follow written and verbal cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
- Ability to work throughout multiple areas of a food production facility.
- Dependable attendance and ability to maintain the Saturday Wednesday schedule.
- Ability to work safely around bakery production equipment and cleaning materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
