Job Summary
Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking Warehouse Sanitation Associates for their Pompano Beach, FL facility. This is a full-time position focused on cleaning and sanitizing production room equipment in a cold-storage warehouse environment. This is not a janitorial or housekeeping role; candidates should have specific experience cleaning warehouse and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production room equipment including tables, dicer machines, metal detectors, shelves, hand tools, and knives
- Perform general cleaning duties using mops, brooms, and sponges
- Maintain cleanliness standards in a cold environment (30-40 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols within a food production facility
- Maintain consistent, reliable attendance
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience cleaning warehouses or industrial facilities
- Experience working in cold environments
- Steel-toe boots required
- Strong attendance record and reliability; this role requires consistent daily presence with no unexpected absences
- Ability to work a physically demanding schedule in a cold setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience cleaning food production equipment (dicers, metal detectors, hand tools, knives)
- Background in food manufacturing or distribution environments
About the Role
This is a contract position with an estimated duration of approximately 9-10 months (1,512 total hours). The schedule is Sunday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with Saturdays off (6-day work week). This position is based on-site at the Pompano Beach, FL facility with no travel required. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
