Job Title: Warehouse Sanitation Associate
Location: Warrendale, PA (173 Thorn Hill Rd, Warrendale, PA 15086)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Travel: None required
Contract Duration: Approximately 12 weeks (1,920 total hours)
Job Summary
Our client, a leading wholesale foods distribution company, is seeking dependable Warehouse Sanitation Associates to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. This role is essential to supporting daily warehouse operations by ensuring cleanliness standards are met across all areas of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove trash and debris from warehouse and dock areas
- Clean up spills of product or other foreign matter
- Operate power scrubbers, walk-behind scrubbers, sweepers, and other cleaning equipment
- Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, and other surfaces
- Maintain facility grounds, lighting, and parking lots
- Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms
- Follow assigned daily sanitation schedules to support a continuous maintenance program
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the facility
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or facility cleaning experience
- Ability to safely handle industrial cleaning chemicals
- Knowledge of proper PPE use
- Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment
- Strong reliability and consistent attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating power scrubbers and sweeper equipment in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse or distribution center environments
