Schedule Details:
Shift Hours: 10PM - 10AM
3 days one week, 4 days the next week
12-hour shifts
As a sanitation worker, you will be helping create a sanitized facility for donut production by:
Mopping/Squeegeeing floor
Sterilize food cooking or processing equipment according to set standards
Spraying/scrubbing down areas
Loading industrial rack washers
Cleaning pipes up to 30ft high in facility
Physical demands:
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple cleaning activities
Ability to constantly lift 20 - 50 pounds
Capability to handle physically demanding work in varying climates and working conditions (extreme heights, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, poor weather, etc.)
The work conditions:
Possible exposure to nut, dairy or other food allergens
The position requires the employee to communicate regularly by speaking and listening
The employee is frequently required to stand for a prolonged period of time
Use of hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms
Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb ladders to various heights
Lifting and or moving items up to 50 pounds
Possibility of exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations
Use of chemicals to clean
Safety glasses, respiratory mask, ear protection, and other PPE are provided as needed

Preferred Qualifications
Food processing or food manufacturing experience
Familiarity with industrial/manufacturing cleaning processes and procedures
Basic knowledge of the function and operation of sanitation equipment
Training and/or experience in operating lift equipment
Training and/or experience with high pressure water systems
Related training; including blood borne pathogens, confined space, lock out systems, dust hazard, chemical management, etc.
