SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of this position include training Team Members in sanitation and directing the activities and duties of the Team. This position is responsible for the Coordination of cleaning and sanitation of all cheese making and related equipment. The Sanitation Coordinator is expected to be an example of high-quality workmanship and commitment to excellence through the support of continuous improvement and customer focused culture. The normal working hours for the Sanitation Coordinator are Monday - Friday, 4pm - 12am (Midnight); with some weekend coverage as business needs arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
o ATP testing, post Sanitation Swabbing
o Completes and verifies all documentation associated with essential job functions.
o Communicates sanitation challenges and Sanitation changes with Team members and ensures completion of Sanitation schedule.
o Communicates schedule changes and/or schedule opportunities to production Supervisor.
o Leads and implements Safety, Quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
o Participate as a member of HACCP, Food Defense and Safety teams.
DIRECT REPORTS
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but this position is required to coordinate and direct the work of Team Members performing Sanitation and participates in the probationary and annual performance review process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree or equivalent (GED), required. Associate degree, preferred.
2-3 years' experience in sanitation and/or food manufacturing. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK LOCATION:
This is an onsite position located at our Antigo Creamery located in Antigo, WI.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 10%).

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is often exposed to extreme, non-weather related heat, wet and/or humid conditions as well as occasional exposure to outside weather. Furthermore, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to hazards which include handling toxic and/or caustic chemicals as well as moving mechanical parts. The Team Member is responsible for the checking of chemical concentration levels and will work with pumps, valves and other related parts. Due to the loud noise levels, ear protection is required.
