DEFINITION: 
Responsible for operating assigned sanitation equipment in support of division operations.

REPORTS TO:  The Sanitation Route Coordinator assigns work in terms of general instructions.
An incumbent in this position may be designated as SANITATION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I, II or III dependent upon the qualification, experience and knowledge of the selected applicant.

SALARY RANGE:                          

                           $19.48 - $29.22 (SANITATION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I)   
                           $20.45 - $30.68 (SANITATION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II)
                           $21.48 - $32.21 (SANITATION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR III)
     
Operator may be required to work weekends and holidays as necessary. Normal work scheduled is Tuesday through Friday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
