No more than 3 rehiring instances at Cobb/Tyson Foods.Position SummarySanitation Worker – Sanitation and cleaning of hatchery equipment, including hatchers, setters, trays, racks, buggies, and all other hatchery equipment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize hatchers and setters. (50%)Clean and sanitize all hatchery equipment using a high‑pressure and regular water hose. (30%)Monitor and record temperatures in the hatchers and setters. (5%)Maintain foot pans and hand sanitizers, operate the macerator, operate the tray washer, set eggs, pull chicks, operate the chick counter, pack or unpack eggs, and maintain a clean and organized work area. (15%)Biosecurity/Animal WelfareThe jobsite is a biosecure environment requiring showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. No jewelry may be worn except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentSafe lifting techniques, ability to lift or move 50 lbs, push/pull 500‑1000 lbs, overhead lifting. Must work on wet and slippery surfaces.Must stand for majority of shift, walk, sit, use hands, reach, balance, stoop, bend over, talk or hear.
