Sanitation Lead
Position Summary
The Sanitation Lead is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe production environment by overseeing and performing a variety of sanitation and cleaning tasks. This role ensures compliance with food safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements while supporting overall production operations.

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Peak season schedule may vary based on business needs
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform titration checks and document readings daily
Assist with additional responsibilities due to staffing shortages (e.g., cleaning production lines)
Follow all safety procedures, report safety concerns, and ensure proper use of PPE
Verify team compliance with safety PPE requirements and maintain documentation
Assist the Supervisor with daily shift huddles
Clean and sanitize production areas, including:
Catch pans
Bucket conveyor systems
Utensils
Walls, ceilings, floors, and pipes
Kettles and top surfaces of equipment
Ensure all cleaning meets food safety standards
Complete all tasks assigned by the Sanitation team or Sanitarian
Report damaged product-contact parts, utensils, and equipment to leadership
Maintain cleanliness of all sanitation equipment and ensure proper covering when not in use
Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
Remove trash and product waste after 3rd shift cleaning is completed
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, including proper PPE and LOTO procedures
Report hazards or concerns to the Sanitation Supervisor
Complete pre-operational inspections in partnership with Quality team members
Collaborate with the Sanitation Supervisor on additional tasks and department needs
