Join our team as the leader responsible for spearheading the overnight sanitation operations at our facility, with shifts running from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend duties may be required. This pivotal position ensures the maintenance of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and the fostering of a safe workplace environment. In collaboration with the Operations Manager, you will be crucial in implementing sanitation protocols that safeguard both our products and our dedicated team members.
Key responsibilities include mentoring and supporting a crew of supervisory personnel to achieve a spotless and regulation-compliant manufacturing setting. You'll manage and develop sanitation programs, adhere to and exceed federal and state safety regulations, and optimize sanitation scheduling. Regular inspections and troubleshooting any sanitation shortfalls will fall under your purview, as well as close coordination with cross-functional teams to address and refine sanitation processes.
Your role extends to overseeing relationships with key vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring contract obligations are met with excellence. You will also drive the training initiatives, promoting best practices in safety and food sanitation, and gather and analyze performance data to drive improvements.
Success in this role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific disciplines. Significant experience in supervising sanitation within the food manufacturing arena is essential, with a proven track record in team leadership and compliance.
