Description
Position: Sanitation Manager
Location: Clifton, NJ area
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Extensive Knowledge of SQF, BRC, FDA, USDA, OSHA, and MSDS.
- Experience keeping areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition to ensure food safety, quality, and continuous production.
- Supervises the Sanitation Crew on all shifts. Analyzes problem sanitation areas, researches and resolves any sanitation issues.
- Maintains Sanitation programs maintain SQF certification each year with 3rd-party quality audits.
- Coordinates the purchase of cleaning products, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), parts for sanitation equipment and all sanitation supplies.
- Ensures plant compliance with sanitation and safety programs: Recordkeeping, SSOP’s (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures), MSS’s (Master Sanitation Schedules) and chemical safety.
- Works with production, maintenance, and other departments to assure that food products meet the appropriate sanitation and Food Safety requirements.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
