The Sanitation Technician is responsible for completing all sanitation and janitorial activities related to the interior and exterior of the facility, including processing equipment, production areas, and warehouse spaces. This role ensures the plant remains clean, safe, and inspection-ready at all times while following all company safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Key Responsibilities
Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start for daily shift huddles, task assignments, and activity coordination
Perform cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the plant interior, exterior, production, and warehouse areas
Ensure all assigned areas remain inspection-ready at all times
Conduct environmental cleaning and sanitizing according to area-specific SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures)
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual sanitation tasks according to the master sanitation schedule
Properly document completed sanitation and janitorial activities
Safely operate cleaning equipment, floor machines, lifts, and related tools
Follow strict cGMPs
