The Role
A hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising sanitation staff, ensuring food safety compliance, and maintaining facility cleanliness standards across the shift. You'll train, motivate, and schedule your team while collaborating cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Receiving.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise, coach, and develop a shift of sanitation workers to meet safety and production objectives
- Execute and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and SSOPs
- Prepare for regulatory and customer inspections (FDA, USDA)
- Manage sanitation chemical inventory and ensure proper titration and dispensing
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and maintain positive union relations
- Execute Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and ensure all PPE compliance
What We Need
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting
- Knowledge of Food Safety, FDA/USDA regulations, and food plant operations
- Experience with pest control in a food plant environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
