BlackRock Resources is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing operation in the Philadelphia area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with food manufacturing and sanitation experience who is passionate about food safety, team development, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
Lead, train, and supervise sanitation team members on 3rd shift
Ensure the facility meets all sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements
Execute sanitation schedules and maintain compliance with SSOPs
Manage and update the Master Sanitation Schedule
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
Partner with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to support plant objectives
Train and develop both new and experienced employees
Monitor sanitation effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP, and food safety standards
Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols
What We're Looking For
2-3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
Experience in food manufacturing and food safety programs
Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, and food plant operations
Experience with sanitation processes and pest control programs in a food manufacturing environment
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring PPE and exposure to noise
Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks when needed
