    Job Description

    Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Sanitation Supervisor in Vancouver, WA to join a well-established industry leader known for its commitment to quality, safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for leading sanitation operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment.

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong sanitation experience in a manufacturing or food production environment and the ability to effectively lead teams, manage sanitation programs, and maintain high standards for safety and quality.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    · Lead, train, schedule, and supervise sanitation team members to ensure daily sanitation requirements are completed safely and effectively.

    · Oversee cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, processing areas, floors, walls, and facility spaces according to established procedures.

    · Ensure compliance with company sanitation policies, GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP programs, food safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

    · Conduct routine inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and identify areas requiring corrective action.

    · Coordinate sanitation activities with production, quality, maintenance, and other departments to minimize downtime and support operational goals.

    · Maintain accurate sanitation records, inspection documentation, chemical usage logs, and other required documentation.

    · Ensure sanitation chemicals and cleaning equipment are properly stored, handled, labeled, and used according to safety requirements.

    · Train employees on sanitation procedures, chemical safety, PPE requirements, and proper cleaning techniques.

    · Investigate sanitation or food safety concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.

    · Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase sanitation effectiveness, employee safety, efficiency, and overall facility cleanliness.

     

    Qualifications

    · Previous sanitation leadership or supervisory experience in food manufacturing, processing, production, or a similar environment.

    · Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP, and food safety standards.

    · Demonstrated ability to lead, train, motivate, and hold team members accountable.

    · Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning procedures, sanitation equipment, and workplace safety practices.

    · Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production environment.

    · Ability to identify sanitation issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective corrective actions.

    · Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

    · Experience maintaining sanitation documentation and supporting internal, customer, or regulatory audits.

    · Ability to work flexible hours as required to support production and sanitation schedules.

    · Competitive compensation based on experience. $80,169.00 To $83,900.00 Annually
