Sanitation Team Member II Trainer - 2nd shift - Findlay

This position offers a base hourly wage of $24.85 per hour, plus bonus based on company performance.

Love keeping things spotless while helping others succeed? As a Sanitation Trainer, you’ll make sure our food production areas are clean, safe, and running smoothly—while guiding new and current team members through proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

Ready to clean, train, and MAKE SHEETZ HAPPEN in Sanitation?

1. Keep bakery production sparkling by cleaning, sanitizing, visually inspecting, and reassembling bakery equipment.
2. Maintain processing aids and tools, performing required chemical checks during COP procedures.
3. Keep Ready-To-Eat (RTE) production lines spotless - clean, sanitize, inspect, and assemble equipment to food safety standards.
4. Filter shortening from donut fryers to keep fryers performing at their best.
5. Perform fryer boil-outs for intensified cleaning of donut fryers.
6. Maintain non-production and production infrastructure - clean walls, ceilings, floors, pillars, vents, lights, and more.
7. Keep common areas clean and sanitized to maintain a safe and welcoming facility.
8. Train team members through procedure reviews and hands-on guidance, while monitoring progress and completing training documents accurately.
9. Model respectful, professional, and positive behavior when training and interacting with others—demonstrating our culture and values every day.
10. Give constructive feedback regularly and help keep training documents and SOPs accurate, up to date, and easy to follow.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Production, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing experience required
• Cleaning or sanitation experience preferred
• Must be actively working in department hiring trainer

Licenses/Certifications

• None required

Tools & Equipment

• Hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)
• Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, forklift, etc.)
• Cleaning equipment such as floor scrubber, sweeper, entryway sanitizer units, tote and tray washer.
