Position Summary
RHC Sanitation Technician Wash Bay is responsible for the proper sanitation and cleaning of specific machinery used on the production lines.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • None
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understanding the company Food Safety & Quality Program and associated responsibilities within the program.
  • Understand and carry out duties assigned by the Master Cleaning Schedule in an efficient and orderly manner.
  • Understand and have the ability to operate all necessary tools available for Plant Sanitation purposes.
  • Be aware of stock levels of cleaning supplies and consumables that are used and alert your manager of any pending out of stocks.
  • Bring to the attention of your direct supervisor any inefficiencies that exist in the Good Safety Department that cause or have potential of causing mistakes and/or production downtime.
  • Complete all well reports
  • Complete cleaning of machinery based on the needs of production
  • Assist co-workers in the sanitation when available.
  • Wiping down a curtains, rolling racks, tools and tool boxes when needed.
  • Ensure hoses are wiped down and off of the floor
  • Ensure there is no standing water in the wash room.

Education and Experience, Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3 years working in a Manufacturing Environment
Education and Experience, Desired:
  • Technical school equivalent certification.
  • 3 years supervisory experience.
  • SQF Certified
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is required to stand and walk.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55.115 pounds.
