Description: NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION The Sanitation Technician will be working with the Sanitation department to ensure that the highest safety, quality, and productivity standards are achieved. Emphasis will be on quality, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and across teams, have attention to detail, and be diligent to maintain compliance with procedures. Duties include cleaning equipment and facilities with water and chemicals, following specific sanitation procedures. Working hours: Monday- Friday 10pm-6am and Saturday’s as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB TASKS Perform tasks under the direction of the Sanitation Manager and Director of Food Safety & Quality and/or the Production Manager Tasks include but are not limited to: Washing the dishes including trays, racks, and hand held tools Taking apart and sanitizing equipment following SOP’s Maintaining the floor, including full cleaning and sanitizing Taking out trash Stocking PPEs on the production floor Cleaning front of house including office space, breakroom, and restrooms Follow all sanitation SOP and guidelines as directed by the Sanitation Manager Complete work while following food safety regulations, occupational safety regulations and all safety guidelines and prioritizing safe working practices Requirements: REQUIRED SKILL, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES Speaking and active listening skills Attention to detail to ensure work is completed and done thoroughly Actively looking for ways to help people Timeliness, being on time, meeting deadlines and sticking to schedule Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met, and work is completed in a timely manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize safety, with a strong sense of integrity REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE No previous experience required. All training is provided on the job. Experience in sanitation or similar field a plus, but not required Experience working with food production equipment a plus but not required Understanding of food safety risks, allergen safety, and of proper cleaning procedures a plus but not required WORKING CONDITIONS Schedule: Monday-Friday 10pm-6am or 6am-2pm, some Saturdays possible Prolonged standing for extended periods Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to 60 pounds Squatting and bending repeatedly Working with one or both hands extended overhead PIb4b71cdf3f79-25448-409925215c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
