Performs general plant custodial duties and grounds maintenance. Packs to cover lunch breaks and other relief of packers as required. This is a midnight 12.5-hour position. The midnight 12.5-hour shift is typically from 6:30pm-7:00am.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clean up tasks as listed on the daily clean up sheets for each shift. Record completed tasks and document other issues as necessary
- Follow proper handling procedures for cleaning and other chemicals required for the position
- Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, steamers, and industrial vacuums
- Refill syrup dispensers and change pans
- Clean snow from entrances and sidewalks as necessary
- Follow proper procedures for cleaning of biohazard spills/accidents
- Perform related duties as required by supervisor
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
- Able to legibly and accurately record information.
- Good understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP).
- Must be able to safely lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stoop, climb, reach and regularly use stairs.
- Job involves bending, turning, twisting, use of hands and rotation of wrists.
- Ability to stand on feet 12 hours per day.
- Identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessary.
- Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be signed off to pack a minimum number of cake cone packs
- Must have demonstrated a good work record and attendance
Pay Range:
Starting from USD $22.85/Hr.
