Sanitation Technician
Job Location: Sonoma, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 1:30pm-10pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Sanitation Technician? We are looking for a dependable, detail oriented professional to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary food production environment. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and processing areas to ensure food safety, product, quality, and compliance with company standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing lines, and work areas
- Operate and monitor Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems following established procedures
- Safely disassemble and reassemble production equipment for cleaning
- Use approved sanitation chemicals and maintain adequate chemical supplies
- Perform pH testing, ATP/environmental monitoring, and complete required sanitation documentation.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and ready for the next production shift
- Follow all GMP, OSHA, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures

Experience Required:
- Previous sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Food manufacturing or dairy industry experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality
- Comfortable working with sanitation chemicals and following safety procedures
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
