Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for collecting the garbage and recyclables within the community. Your duties may also include the responsible disposal of hazardous waste and ensuring the organization follows local and state health and safety standards. At the end of your shift, you will bring the refuse that has been collected to a transfer station or landfill. If you are a hard worker who takes pride in our community's appearance, we want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities: 

• Work outdoors year-round and in all weather conditions
• Safely drive a large garbage truck and operate the truck mechanisms for lifting and dumping the garbage cans and dumpsters
• Collect large or heavy objects manually when necessary

Qualifications: 

• Previous work experience as a Sanitation Worker or in a similar role
• Valid CDL Required with clean record. 
• Ability to routinely lift 50+ pounds with proper lifting techniques
• Knowledge of proper waste disposal practices
• Must be able to past pre-employment drug screening
• Experience working with hazardous materials
• Ability to follow a GPS or online navigation directions
• Reliable and able to work independently
