Sanitation Worker

Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a Sanitation worker  to join their team. As a Sanitation worker, you will be part of the Plant Services department supporting the sanitation and cleanliness of production areas. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to hygiene and safety standards, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation 

Location: San Fernando, CA

Pay Range: $20.00 

Shift:3pm-11:30pm

What's the Job?

• Run and distribute reports as required
• Conduct regular checks and cleaning of restrooms and lunchroom areas; remove trash and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Support the trash compactor area and assist in waste management tasks.
• Participate in shift change meetings to ensure smooth transitions and daily briefing.
• Clean and organize various plant areas including the machine room, inspection room, and compounding area.
• Inspect assigned areas throughout the day, ensuring cleanliness and organization are maintained.

What's Needed?

• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working with cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and mop buckets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Able to work independently and follow schedules with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in janitorial, sanitation, or production support roles is preferred but not required.
