Sanitization Installation Technician
Compensation: $60,000 per year
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sanitization Installation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sanitization and industrial equipment in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role requires a strong mechanical background, hands-on installation experience, and a commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience working with industrial equipment, strong preventative and corrective maintenance skills, and the ability to support installation projects from setup through testing and completion.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and commission sanitization and related industrial equipment at customer or facility sites
Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient operation
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and installation instructions
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations
Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and installation records
Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and clients regarding project status, repairs, and recommendations
Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability, safety, and performance
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience maintaining and operating industrial equipment
Proven experience working as an Industrial Mechanic
Hands-on experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, equipment installation, and repair practices
Ability to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices in industrial environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Education and Certifications
Candidates must possess the following:
Certified Technical Professional certification in Production Mechanics
High-Risk Work Supervisor certification
Basic Risk Prevention or Safety Officer certification
Completion of General Occupational Health & Safety induction or equivalent safety training
Formal coursework or training in Industrial Mechanics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience installing and servicing sanitization systems or related industrial processing equipment
Experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial plant environments
Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
Ability to lift tools, parts, and equipment as needed
Comfortable working around machinery, in confined spaces, or at heights where required
Ability to use personal protective equipment and comply with all site safety rules
Work Environment
Industrial, manufacturing, and field-based installation environments
May require travel to job sites as needed
Must be comfortable working in safety-sensitive environments.
