Join our team as a Sanitor I and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe environment in our high-volume bakery production facility. You'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment, floors, and environmental surfaces to meet strict hygiene standards and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize equipment (mixers, conveyors, ovens, etc.) and facility areas (floors, restrooms, lobbies).
• Handle waste disposal and recycling.
• Maintain supply levels (bathroom, PPE).
• Operate sanitation equipment (floor scrubber, power washer, steam cleaner).
• Participate in meetings and report issues to supervisors.
• Support food safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; up to 1 year of related experience.
• Language Skills: Basic reading and writing.
• Math Skills: Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret graphs.
• Reasoning Ability: Follow detailed instructions with common sense.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly).
• Exposure to noise, mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, and airborne particles.
• Requires use of protective equipment (e.g., hearing protection, safety shoes). Loud, industrial setting with potential exposure to electrical hazards and weather conditions.
