    Description

    Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of more than 3,000 satellites in low Earth orbit. Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

    Export Control: This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.

    Role: In this role, you will be a key member of the team creating enterprise applications needed to design, build, and operate the organization's business services. You will be responsible for developing custom solutions, enhancements, and user interfaces using SAP ABAP programming while also creating compelling analytics dashboards and reports to meet specific business requirements of our organization. Our ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical development and business intelligence, delivering end-to-end solutions, has strong technical expertise in ABAP programming and SAP Analytics Cloud capabilities. The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows • Develop and optimize SAP solutions including BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Points • Create and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner • Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and scalability • Support SAP system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects • Develop data extraction and transformation logic to support analytics requirements • Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards, stories, and analytical applications using SAP Analytics Cloud • Create data models and establish connections to SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and other data sources • Build responsive and user-friendly visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity

    About the Team: Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) Business Systems team is responsible for a suite of products to automate and optimize business operations for Amazon Leo for Government. This is anchored in business process modeling and configuring SAP ERP's enterprise capabilities to streamline and optimize critical business processes, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Record-to-Report (RTR), and Make-to-Order (MTO). The team also owns Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Pricing systems. The solutions are built to comply with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
